Download & Install AIFX
Welcome to AIFX Art! This page will guide you step-by-step through downloading and installing AIFX on your computer.
Download
To get started, visit the official AIFX Art Download Page and select the version appropriate for your computer's Operating System.

AIFX supports Windows, Mac, and Linux (Debian & AppImage).
Install
Once your download is complete, follow the instructions for your Operating System below.
Windows
- Locate the downloaded installation
.exefile in your Downloads folder. - Double-click the file to start the installer.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
Mac
- Locate the downloaded
.dmgfile in your Downloads folder. - Double-click the
.dmgfile to open it. - In the window that appears, drag the AIFX app icon into your Applications folder.
- Open your Applications folder and double-click the AIFX app to launch it.
- If prompted by your operating system, confirm you wish to open the app (you may need to approve it in ‘System Preferences > Security & Privacy’).
Linux (Debian-based)
- Open a terminal.
- Navigate to the folder where you downloaded
AIFX_??.deb. - Run the following command to install:(Replace
sudo dpkg -i AIFX_??.deb??with the correct version number.) - If you encounter dependency issues, run:
sudo apt-get install -f
Linux (AppImage)
- Move the downloaded
.AppImagefile to a folder in your system’s$PATH(e.g.,~/binor/usr/local/bin), or somewhere you prefer. - Right-click the
.AppImagefile and select Properties. - Under the Permissions tab, check the box labeled “Allow executing file as program.”
- Alternatively, in a terminal, you can run:(Replace
chmod +x AIFX_??.AppImage??with the correct version number.) - Double-click the AppImage file, or run it from the terminal:
./AIFX_??.AppImage
